Resumen:
Este texto trata de comparar el concepto de masoquismo con su antitesis- the surrender, en el sentido de entrega, más que de rendición. Aquí, rendirse o entregarse no tiene nada que ver con el concepto de la derrota, más bien todo lo contrario, significa liberación, la expansión del self. Tiene que ver con la fe, con la entrega de uno mismo a la creatividad, al simbolismo, después de conseguir el contacto con el o auténtico. Para eso, según Winnicott, hay que vencer al falso self, creer en la posibilidad de corregir los propios fallos, originarios de déficit y conflicto, tener la capacidad de regresión. El falso self significa estar ausente, perder la posibilidad de de estar vivo y presente. Tiene que haber un deseo para nacer de nuevo y ser auténtico. Entregarse es lo contrario de la resistencia.

Abstract:
This text tries to compare the concept of masochism with his antithesis - the surrender, in the sense of delivery, more than of surrender. Here, to give up itself or to be delivered does not have anything that to see with the concept of the defeat, rather everything opposite, means liberation, the expansion of the self. It has to see with the faith, with the delivery of one itself to the creativity, to the symbolism, after obtaining the contact with or authentic. For it, according to Winnicott, it is necessary to conquer the false self, believe in the possibility of correcting the own failures, original of deficit and conflict, having the capacity of regression.The false self means to be absent, to lose the possibility of of being alive and present. There has to be a desire to be born again and to be authentic. Submitting is the opposite of the resistance.
