Resumen:
El duque de York se convirtió en rey de Gran Bretaña con el nombre de Jorge VI (1936-1952), tras la abdicación de su hermano mayor Eduardo VIII. Su tartamudez, que constituía un gran inconveniente para el ejercicio de sus funciones, lo llevó a buscar la ayuda de Lionel Logue, un experto logopeda que consiguió, empleando una serie de técnicas poco ortodoxas, eliminar este defecto del rey.

Abstract:
The duke of York turned into king of Great Britain with the name of Jorge VI (1936-1952), after the abdication of his major brother Eduardo VIII. His stutter, which was constituting a great disadvantage for the exercise of his functions, led it to looking for the help of Lionel Logue, an expert speech therapist that it obtained, using a series of slightly orthodox technologies, to eliminate this fault of the king.
