A. Ávila: Es un honor haber compartido con el Profesor Andrew P. Morrison estas jornadas de trabajo. Nos gustaría hacerte ahora algunas preguntas acerca de tu trayectoria personal, y recabar tus opiniones sobre algunas cuestiones. En primer lugar, ¿nos puedes hablar de tu trayectoria como psicoanalista? ¿Qué cambios has experimentado en tu orientación teórica?
A. Morrison: Mi interés en convertirme en psicoanalista comenzó cuando leí a Freud por primera vez en el Instituto. Mi admiración y mi oposición a él fue tempranamente reflejada durante la etapa escolar cuando escribí un ensayo en el que contrastaba al propio Freud con su rival Alfred Adler – un ensayo titulado “El yo (Adler) y el ello (Freud) del psicoanálisis”.

A. Avila: It´s honor to have shared with Professor Andrew P. Morrison these days of work. We now want to ask you some questions about your personal background and seek your opinions on some issues. First, can you talk about your career as a psychoanalyst? What changes have you experienced in your theoretical orientation?
A. Morrison: My interest to became psychoanalyst began when I read Freud for the first time in the Institute. My admiration and my opposition to him was early reflected during the school stage when I wrote a test in the one that was confirming to the own Freud with his rival Alfred Adler - a qualified test " I (Adler) and it (Freud) of the psychoanalysis ".
