Resumen:
Frank Capra es uno de los directores clásicos al que recurrimos cuando hay necesidad de una dosis extra de esperanza. Sus historias suelen evocarnos cierta sensación de que es posible un mundo que nos haga más felices.
En esta ocasión se trata de la historia de Jefferson Smith, un hombre sencillo de una pequeña ciudad. Es enviado como senador a Washington por un grupo de políticos que quieren convertirle en una marioneta al servicio de sus intereses. Smith iniciará una batalla casi en solitario contra la corrupción y un grupo de senadores sin escrúpulos.

Abstract:
Frank Capra is one of the classic directors to whom we resort when there is need of a dose extra of hope. His histories us are in the habit of evoking certain sensation that there is possible a world that makes us happier. In this occasion it is a question of the history of Jefferson Smith, a simple man of a small city. It is sent as senator to Washington by a group of politicians who want to convert him into a marionette to the service of his interests. Smith will initiate a battle almost in solitarily against the corruption and a group of senators without scruples.
